LakeFront TV Doubles Household Reach With Launch On Prism Network
On Friday morning November 21st, CenturyLink PRISM subscribers across Central Florida will be able to enjoy the quality community programming of the City of Leesburg’s Lake Front TV. The PRISM expansion will literally double the household reach of Lake Front TV from Kissimmee/St. Cloud to Gainesville.
Lake Front TV will be Channel 21 on the PRISM Network, introducing viewers to public television focused on better living, education and entertainment from City of Leesburg, Lake County and
surrounding areas. Lake Front TV is currently available to approximately 100,000 cable subscribers on Comcast Channel 22, Brighthouse Channel 199 and Florida Cable Channel 4.

Lake Front TV started in 2005 as a public television channel featuring a fulltime schedule of programming for communities in Lake County and surrounding areas. Locally produced shows include Lake County Courts with Judge Donna Miller, Salute To Veterans, Inside Leesburg, and Beyond Books-The Leesburg
Library Show Lake Front TV recently partnered with Lake County Schools to create The Home-School Connection – a weekly magazine style show hosted by Leesburg Elementary School principal Dr. Patrick Galatowitsch. Each week, parents get an inside look at ways to get connected with their child’s education. Lake Front TV has also teamed with Minneola-based World Extreme Wrestling -where each week we take viewers ringside to their local wrestling action.
Lakefront TV also presents government meetings from the Leesburg City Commission, the Lake County School Board, and meetings from the Central Florida Expressway Authority as well as civic events and parades.
Leesburg is a progressive city of more than 21,000 residents in northwest Lake County. The city government serves twice as many people with its electric, gas, water, wastewater and fiber-optic public utilities.
