WXW Wrestling kicked off 2015 with a bang as the standing-room only crowd witnessed the crowning of a NEW WXW Hardcore Champion Saturday night at the Minneola Recreation Center. Sean Maluta, one of six randomly chosen superstars, survived a Triple Threat gauntlet before going on to defeat The Beast in a Tables Match to become the first WXW Hardcore Champion in two years.
Commissioner Ricky Santana’s desire to bring back the “Xtreme” in World Xtreme Wrestling led to his creation of Hardcore Havoc, a lottery that included all WXW superstars, divas, and officials. In addition to the reintroduction of the Hardcore Title, the WXW audience was entertained with multiple title matches, all capped off by Maluta’s triumphant win.
Commissioner Santana promised the WXW faithful a new edge and a renewed desire from the talented locker room. Hardcore Havoc provided just a taste of what WXW has in store for the rest of 2015.
WXW travels to Bushnell, Florida at the Sumter County Fairgrounds, this Saturday. Bell time is 6:30 PM.
